Checkerboard Ceramic Beaded Necklace With Real Gold Painted Details
I love making these chunky beaded necklaces and think of them as a mental palette cleanser in the studio. Since I normally work with many colors in my pottery and marbling, the simple line work and doodle styles of these beads give me a pleasant shift in focus. Like everything else in the shop, these are one of a kind and crafted with much love and care in my Savannah studio. One thing I especially love about this set of beads is the subtle gold details painted onto the two end beads. This is real gold and requires a special third firing in the kiln.
Ceramic beads are hand-formed and painted, then strung onto soft waxed cotton cords. The fully adjustable cords make it possible to wear this necklace long or short.
