The nearness of spring is bringing a fresh wave of energy to the studio! I'm balancing market days at Forsyth Park with quiet mornings at the marbling tank. This is the perfect time of year for marbling in my Savannah studio as the process doesn't play well with extreme temperatures or humidity, so our mild weather provides that sweet spot I need.

Working with clay feels like a natural extension of everything I love about textiles—the way materials can be shaped, layered, and transformed. The bowls in this collection carry a looping design inspired by my old knitting practice, while the spoons and bows echo the twists and braids of sewing notions.

My personal January experience has felt quieter and more introspective than the buzz I see online. You won’t find any sweeping resolutions over here, and there’s no rushing into big new projects. Instead, I’m taking deliberate and soft steps towards a gentle reset.
